She holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, giving her a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, technology, and concept-based learning. With experience in Peel, York, and Toronto Region schools, and as a former teacher candidate at an Ontario university, Navneet has supported students from Grades 1–12 across Peel, York, and Toronto Region school boards. Her strong understanding of the Ontario Curriculum allows her to support students with grade-level expectations, classroom learning goals, and long-term academic development.

"I started Navneet Kaur Tutoring, also known as NK Tutoring, because I saw that many students need more time, attention, and personalized support than they may receive in a regular classroom setting. Through my experience in school environments, I noticed that classroom lessons are often designed for the whole class, but not every student learns at the same pace. Some students need extra explanation, repeated practice, step-by-step guidance, or a different teaching approach to fully understand a concept.
While teachers and educational assistants work hard to support students, many learners still struggle because they may not always receive enough individual focus during the school day. When students move from one grade to the next without fully understanding the basics, learning gaps can grow over time. These gaps can make higher grades, high school courses, and future academic pathways more challenging, especially in subjects like Math, Science, and English.
I also noticed that some students begin to lose interest or confidence when they fall behind. In high school, some students may miss classes, avoid completing worksheets or tests, leave work blank, or attend school without fully engaging in the learning process. Often, this happens because they already feel lost, discouraged, or unsure about the basic concepts. As the classroom continues to move forward with the syllabus, these students may fall even further behind.
NK Tutoring was created to help close these learning gaps by providing focused academic support, clear explanations, and a safe space where students can ask questions without feeling rushed or judged. My goal is to help students strengthen their foundational knowledge, correct misunderstandings, build confidence, and develop skills that support long-term success.
